CONEXANT ALSA DRIVER

First noticed this a few weeks ago on If anyone wants to try it, I am willing to share what I have learned about this bug, but I have no time to actively contribute to it more then half an hour a day. I have same bug on my Toshiba L, and only use Windows 7. At Sat, 26 Jan Although I still believe change in the kernel module may workaround it, nobody even the kernel module developer did not pick this to fix it. Worked great for a while but once it screws up,it's back to windows. Before that the speaker worked reliably.

I started believing that it is the wrong firmware, as it seems it influences also Windows world. I believe after Ubuntu Installing the latest alsa-driver-linuxant package is necessary before installing alxa driver.
